When you choose to serve, your faithfulness and dedication in the Ministry of Helps is a blessing to your Pastor, your fellow members and every visitor who enters our doors. Not only that, but there is a joy that comes through serving that will bless you as well!

MINISTRY OF HELPS...Levels of Growth in Service
We offer three levels of service in our ministry of helps. We do this in order to provide solid doctrine, heartfelt training and practical experience to those who desire to grow and serve God with all their hearts. Listed below are the necessary steps for each level of certification. The higher the level of your certification, the more opportunities for serving and leadership are available to you.

To serve in any level, including Level One, you must be a member in good standing having gone through our membership orientation. For more information about membership, click here.

LEVEL ONE- Beginning to Serve:
Transition Team- Assist in set up and break down of chairs and tables prior to scheduled events as well as break down and clean up after events.

Coffee  Clutch- Set up refreshment table, make coffee, and serve refreshments when applicable. Create a warm atmosphere that is friendly. Greet guests with Smile.

Cleaning Team- Report to team leader as scheduled for all cleaning needs of facility during midweek and weekends.
 
Anyone wanting to serve in Level Two and Three are also required to have completed our Foundations class (Get a Grip), Ministry of Helps class, and also be enrolled in or have completed our Understanding Authority class. For more information about these classes, click here.

LEVEL TWO- Hands-on Opportunity:
Welcome Center- Answer questions, give directions, and take information for current  events. Coordinates CD distribution and oversees sign-up for special events.
 
Hospitality Team- Assist  in preparation, decorating and serving of food and refreshments for a  designated group for fellowship.

Usher/Greeter- Warmly welcoming guests and members, opening doors and giving direction. Encourage first time guests to visit the Welcome Center. Greet everyone entering the sanctuary. Hand out bulletins, collect offering at designated service time.

Audio/Visual- Assists with  Audio Sound and video  production, running visual slides and sermon notes as well as photography.

Media/Duplication- Reproduce  audio CD’s and DVD’s upon request.

Share—Serve—Grow—Lead... As you continue to serve faithfully in Level Two responsibilities and grow in your assigned area, leadership opportunities may become available to you. Level Three Ministry of Helps opportunities also have some higher-level responsibilities and requirements beyond the class fulfillments noted above.

LEVEL THREE- Developing Through Relationships & Leadership:
Music Department- Available to attend weekly rehearsals and scheduled services.

Altar Care- Assists pastor with people during alter ministry time, this also includes baptism.
 
Pulpit  Ministry- Assist pastor and guests on platform with whatever they may need before, during service or after service.

Child Care Ministries- Caring for and ministering to children in love from ages newborn through 5th grade. Note: This ministry requires a background check.

Security Ministries- Positions vary from parking lot attendants to sanctuary as well as pulpit and pastoral support.
